Australia Vs New Zealand 04/20/07

Australia as usual win again by 215 runs. Australian fielders huddle together in celebration. This is their 21st consecutive win in World Cups. Massive. This is New Zealand's biggest defeat in ODIs. New Zealand looked they were trying to keep up with the run rate, but it doesn't help when you lose wickets all the time. Fulton got 62, but the final total of 133 was way, way short.

Australia 348/6 in 50 overs(RR 6.96)
New Zealand 133 all out in 25.5 overs(RR 5.14)

Matthew Hayden is Man-of the-match.His third century of the World Cup gave Australia the headstart that demoralised the Kiwis. Maybe he'll fail when it really matters in the knockouts? Don't count on it.
Lets talk about tomorrow: It is meant to be either be a pre-finals demonstration of West Indies unity or do-or-die match for semi-final place. West Indies Vs England will be neither, with the very minor prize of fifth place being the only prize up for grabs.Result will not change the fact that dire world cup campaigns for the two sides, but it means that either Lara's international career or Duncan Fletcher's England coaching stint will end on a minor high. Anyway let's hope he bats higher than six. That's all I have it for today Until then Cheers.
